How can I make an after auction offer to a seller?
The After-Auction System has the following advantages for buyer. A buyer can now make an offer on a wine at a lower price than what the seller is asking for on a no-reserve auction that has ended without any bids. When a seller has a reserve auction where the reserve was not met, the buyer can now make an offer after the lot closes unsuccessfully.
How to access the After-Auction System if you are a Buyer:
Go to the lot page of the auction in which you are interested. If the auction has closed unsuccessfully within the last 7 days, a box will appear that reads: “Click here to make an offer to the seller of this lot”
Click the box. You will be asked to enter your offer along with a brief message. The seller has 24 hours to accept the offer.
