What is a verified user and how can you become verified?
A verified user is one who has provided WineCommune a credit card that we used to verify the details of the personal information they provided when registering. All sellers must be verified to sell. You do not need to be verified in order to buy on WineCommune, however, purchases by non-verified users are not covered by the WineCommune buyer protection insurance policy.
To become verified, goto http://www.winecommune.com/program/register3.cfm.
In general, there are two reasons to become a verified user:
- If you're a potential seller, bidder's will be more likely to bid on your lots. As a seller, WineCommune will insure bidders against any fraudulent seller activity. Only lots offered by verified sellers are elligible for the insurance coverage.
-
If you're a bidder, sellers will have confidence in your identity which can make the closing of a transaction a simplier process.
