Is there any way for a seller to cancel an existing auction that has bids on it already?
You can end an auction early, but it will sell to the winning bidder if there is one. To do this, select myWC (http://www.winecommune.com/mywc/) from the top of any WineCommune page. Login. Select MY LOTS. Find the lot you are interested in and select the CANCEL link below the lot name. That will walk you through the steps necessary to close an auction early.
