What do I do if the buyer does not pay? Non Paying Buyer Wizard?
Use the Non Paying Buyer Wizard to get paid from slow buyers. To access the Wizard:
Select myWC (http://www.winecommune.com/mywc/) from the top of any WineCommune page. Login. Select the MY LOTS tab. Three days after an item closes, a link called Non Paying Buyer Wizard will appear underneath the lot name.
Once you have entered the Wizard:
Once three days have passed since the end of an item, you can send a buyer a payment reminder. Select the Send Reminder link below next to the username of the buyer who has not paid. This will allow you to enter the payment instructions and send a polite reminder to the buyer. The message will include a reminder from WineCommune about their obligations when they purchase items.
If 7 days pass after sending a payment reminder and you have not been paid, return to the Wizard and file a Non Paying Buyer Report by clicking the link File Report next the bidder's username (the link will not appear until 7 days have passed from the time you sent the payment reminder). The Non Paying Buyer Report will send the buyer a warning that unless they pay within 10 days they may be suspended or otherwise disciplined by WineCommune.
If you have not received payment within 10 days after filing the Non Paying Bidder Report, return to this page within 45 days to request a credit for the commission on the item. You cannot request a credit unless you have first sent a Payment Request and then filed a Non Paying Buyer Report. When you file for a credit, the Non Paying Buyer Report will be recorded in the buyer's record.
