- In order to participate in the KERA Auction, you must first become a member of 55 Degrees. To join, please simply e-mail them at wine@fiftyfivedegrees.com to open your account.
- Members of the International Winemaker’s Auction and Passport*WineClub can now store and manage a private wine cellar in California through an agreement with 55 Degrees, Napa Valley’s Premier Wine Storage and Concierge Service, located in St. Helena, California, in the heart of the Napa Valley.
- The benefit of a private cellar account is your ability to receive and store wine at the optimum temperature of 55° with a relative humidity between 60-70%. Your wine can be stored for any length of time that you wish.
- Joining 55 Degrees also enables you to enjoy special wine tasting privileges at many of the boutique wineries in Napa and Sonoma; a full Concierge service; access to private auctions held in Napa and Sonoma, San Francisco, Sun Valley, and invitations to such prestigious events as Auction Napa Valley 2005.
Remember that in order to participate in the KERA International Winemaker's Auctions you must first become a member of 55 Degrees.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions from successful bidders:
1. Now that I won a lot in the Auction what are my choices and what happens
next?
You can either store and cellar your wine at 55 Degrees or have it transferred out.
2. How do I Transfer my lot?
When you joined 55 Degrees you were provided a Welcome Packet via e-mail. The e-mail contained the necessary Transfer Forms and procedures. If you did not receive these forms please contact 55 Degrees and they will gladly forward the forms to you.
Fill out the forms and fax back to 55 Degrees at 707-963-5281 or e-mail them at wine@fiftyfivedegrees.com. If you have any questions on how to proceed, please contact them and they can instruct you on the process. Please remember 55 Degrees does NOT SHIP.
3. Are there handling fees?
Their storage and transfer fees are $24 per unit transaction for the first 30
days after the completion of the auction.
4. What if I want to store my wine longer than 30 days?
If for some reason you can't take possession of your wine then there will be
an additional charge of $6 per month per unit transaction thereafter until you
transfer your wine out.
