New to Selling Wine?

There are now two ways to sell wine on WineCommune

1. List your wines for sale yourself

WineCommune is an easy way to post wines for sale, accept bids from competing buyers and then complete the transaction. It's so easy—you'll love it! Here's what to do...

1. First, you'll need to register, if you haven't done so already.

2. Once your registered with WineCommune you're ready to sell! Gather the info you'll need before you prepare your listing.

3. Go to the Sell Your Item form, fill in the info, and review your listing. Be sure to check the information carefully, then click on Create.

4. You'll see a confirmation page; jot down the info, such as your item number. This will be helpful if you want to update your listing, and to keep track of your item's status as your very own auction progresses!

5. During the auction, goto myWC to manage your auction and watch the bidding activity.
6. When your auction closes, contact your winning bidder to confirm the final cost, including any shipping charges, and tell them where to send payment. The buyer sends you payment directly and you ship the wine to them directly. Its fast, easy and efficient!

2. Consign your wines with WineCommune

Don't want to deal with posting items for sale yourself ?
Does your state restrict your ability to sell wine ?
Consign your wine to WineCommune. When you consign wine to WineCommune for sale, you ship the wines directly to us, we list them for sale, collect payment from the buyer, ship the wines to the buyer and then send you a check! It is the fast, low hassle way to sell your wines.

Here is how it works:

1. First, you'll need to register, if you haven't done so already.
2. Prepare a list of wines you want to sell. Then, use our wizard to let us know what wines you will be sending to us.
3. When you complete the wizard, you will be given a confirmation number and information on where to ship your wine.
4. Once we receive your wine, we inspect it, photograph it and list it on WineCommune. All wines consigned to us start at $1 with no reserve price.
5. During the auction, monitor how your wines are doing from myWC.
6. After the auction ends, WineCommune collects payment from the buyer, sends out the wines and then sends you a check. You can expect payment within 21 business days of the close of the auction.
