ITEM DETAILS:
You are bidding on a dutch lot of up to 9 bottles of Wine Spectator's 1 Wine of Year for 2009 - the 2005 Columbia Crest Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve!!!

RATINGS/COMMENTS:

Wine Spectator: 95 points
"Ripe in flavor, with a vivid array of black currant, blackberry, violet, black tea and black pepper aromas and flavors that zoom through to a long, expressive finish. Shows subtlety in the layers of complex flavor against a refined structure. Tannins are present but nicely contained. Best from 2010 through 2015. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 6,000 cases made. –HS "

DUTCH LOTS:

This is a "dutch lot". Please note that the amount you bid is the dollar amount you are willing to pay for each individual bottle, not for the total number of bottles you enter into the "Quantity" box. For example if you bid $100 and put "1" in the Quantity box, you are bidding $100 for that 1 bottle. However, if you bid $100 and put "2" in the Quantity box, you are bidding $100 per bottle, therefore $200 total. If you do not completely understand this process, please feel free to send me a message or read WineCommune's help section on Dutch lots before bidding.

STORAGE:

Wine has been stored in my cellar since release from the winery in perfect conditions (55 degrees F / 70% RH) with fill levels in the neck and is in pristine condition. I have been the only owner of this wine.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

I will accept PayPal, PayPal eChecks, personal checks, Bank/Certified checks or money orders; all in U.S. dollars only. Please keep in mind that if paying via PayPal, I will need to add 3.1% to the total cost to cover fees (or $5 flat fee if paying via PayPal eCheck).

SHIPPING:

Seller will act as shipping agent for Buyer. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. Wine will be shipped in a styrofoam wine shipping box on the Monday following the receipt and clearing of your payment. I will honor requests to ship earlier if desired. Weight is calculated as 3 pounds per 750ml bottle plus 1-5 pounds for the shipping container, depending on the size of the order. UPS will be used for all shipments, and by bidding on this lot you agree to use this courier. However, if the winning bidder wants to use his/her shipping account number with UPS, Fedex or DHL, then you must email it to me and I will apply the charges to the account when printing the shipping label. The wine will be shipped out the day after payment is received if paying via PayPal, bank check or money order. If paying via personal check or PayPal eCheck, I must wait until the funds clear my bank account prior to shipping the wine. When making your shipping choice, please note that I live in NY. You are responsible for knowing the wine shipping policy of your state.

WINNING BIDDER INSTRUCTIONS:

As soon as the auction closes, please send me a WineCommune message or email within 3 calendar days of winning with the following three items:

1.) Shipping Address (please note if residential or business)
2.) Preferred method of shipping (UPS ground, 3-day, 2-day or overnight)
3.) Preferred method of payment (PayPal, PayPal eCheck, personal check, Bank/Certified check, or money order).

After providing me with this information, I will then reply to you via email or WineCommune with the total cost. Please do not send payment until I quote you the total cost. After I quote you the total cost, please make payment within 7 calendar days. I will honor extenuating circumstances as long as they are communicated to me clearly and promptly.
