Winery Notes: The 2009 Screaming Eagle is a pitch-perfect representation of our vineyard, a voice that speaks completely of its place. Focused enticingly somewhere between the roundness of the 2007 vintage and the elegance of 2008, we expect the 2009 to be our vintage of the decade. WA 98+: The 2009 Screaming Eagle is insanely beautiful. It is a relatively open vintage that nevertheless possesses stunning intensity, depth and elegance. Dark red berries, flowers, mint and spices are all woven together beautifully. Layers of fruit build effortlessly to the long, seductive finish. The 2009 continues to flesh out in the glass. All of the elements are in the right place in the drop-dead gorgeous, stunning 2009. A haunting bouquet reminiscent of a great Musigny lingers on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029. I'm buying this 3 pack from the winery as a futures purchase. It's due to ship to me on or about Feb 27th. Once I take delivery, I can ship to the winner at their convenience. Once I receive the wine, it will be kept in my personal cellar @ 55 degrees until shipping. I will ship to the seller using FedEx at the seller cost and shipping method (1,2 day, etc). The title of these wines transfers to the buyer upon receipt of the tracking #. Payment is accepted by Paypal (+3%) or check/money order (will need to wait until they clear).
