Collectors - HERE IT IS!! - One perfect bottle (750mL) of the Gap's Crown Vineyard designate from the producer of the the 2011 Wine Spectator TOP 100 WINE OF THE YEAR - Kosta Browne!!! Always impressive, the Kosta Browne Pinot Noirs have just become that much more coveted amongst collectors - especially the 2009 vineyard designates - which are produced in even smaller quantities than that of the Russian River Valley or Sonoma Coast bottlings, (of which the Sonoma Coast took the incredible title of 2011 WINE of the YEAR from Wine Spectator). This benchmark achievement amongst California Pinot Noir and a brilliant expression of the exemplary 2009 vintage is stunning now or will mature gracefully over the next several years. This bottle is in perfect condition and was purchased directly from the distributor and stored appropriately in environmentally controlled conditions (VinoTemp) since it's acquisition. Here is what James Laube of the Wine Spectator had to say about this wine, of which less than 1,500 cases were produced (experience this while you can!!!): Trim and focused, with a spicy herbal edge to the dried berry, mineral, tar and cedar notes. Full-bodied, ending with a neatly tapered finish that ends on a fresh earthy, pebbly aftertaste.
