From the bottle: The GOLDEN RECTANGLE refers to a mathematical relationship, first defined by Euclid around 300 B.C., which results in a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing proportion. This wine is a precise blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot, resulting in the balance and subtle beauty embodied in the principle of the Golden Rectangle. The suppleness, silken tannins and voluptuous perfume typical of Fay fruit are clearly evident, while 23 months aging in French oak has added complexity and texture. Only 354 cases were produced.

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is a private Napa Valley estate that has been owned by my family since we established the winery in 1972 in what is now known as the Stags Leap District. We are best known for our three estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignons, CASK 23, S.L.V. and FAY, which are among the most highly regarded Cabernets in the world. Wine has been in controlled temperature environment since time of purchase and will be shipped in a Styrofoam shipper ($5.00) at buyer’s cost. Buyer agrees to take full responsibility for wine once it has left the sellers’ hands. Payments can be made by money order, personal check or PayPal. Buyer pays all PayPal fees (3%+$.30) of TOTAL transaction. All payments MUST be received NO LATER than 5 business days after the lot closes.
