Coupon Manager

To create or manage your coupons and discounts select Coupon Manager from the Promote Your Store section of the Store Manager.

A coupon is a code that you will give to your customers. If a customer enters that code into their shopping cart, their order will get a predetermined discount. A discount is a coupon that applies to all orders whether or not the customer enters in the code.

To create a new discount or coupon, complete all of the fields in the form. First, select a code for your coupon/discount. This is the code that your customers will enter on the Order Form to redeem the coupon. It can contain only letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores. It cannot be more than 128 characters. Coupon codes are not case-sensitive.

Designate when the system should apply the discount by determining whether the coupon applies to all orders only when the code is entered by the buyer.

Set how much the coupon is good for: either a percent off the total or a set amount off.

If you want to apply the coupon only when the customer's order reaches a minimum amount designate that minimum amount or number of items.

Finally, set whether the coupon should expire or not.

Coupons and discounts will only reduce the cost of products - they will not affect any taxes or shipping costs.
