2004 Esmonin, Frederic Mazis Chambertin Rouge
Condition:
A completely different nose that is more serious with that gamey character that classic Mazis often displays coupled with exuberant red pinot fruit that gives way to sweet, rich and found medium full flavors that possess better phenolic ripeness plus a finish that is sweet, punchy and firm. The finish is still moderately edgy and at the moment, there is a distinct, if slight, vegetal quality. BH
