Condition:
A wine that merits patience is the deeply saturated Clos de la Roche. Highly structured, with noticeable tough, hard tannins, fine concentration, and a dry, austere, unflattering finish, it displays attractive weight and ripeness. However, the tannins may outlast the fruit. Pinot Noir with this much tannin always makes me nervous. RP
