1999 Tollot Beaut & Fils Corton Rouge

Curiously, this is less dark than the foregoing wines yet this is definitely more elegant than a typical young Corton. Earthy fruit with fascinating complexity and lovely extract all wrapped in plenty of pinot baby fat. While there is solid structure lurking beneath the fat, this is both more detailed and approachable than usual. BH
