Medium red. Nuanced nose combines red cherry, raspberry, cinnamon and tarry, smoky oak. Quite uncompromisingly dry yet lush, silky and rich. Sappy, intense flavors of red berries and white pepper. At once pretty and substantial; this offers uncommon finesse for a California pinot. Very long finish features spicy red berries and firm but light tannins. ST
