Very deep garnet colored, with a bouquet of ripe cassis fruit, cedar, tar, and herbs, this fully mature, full-bodied, concentrated wine has an unctuous texture, sweet tannin, and good balance. Anticipated maturity: now-2002. Last tasted 8/96. RP
