1994 Rouget, E Echezeaux Rouge
Condition:
A mature red fruit nose of moderate complexity is followed by slightly under ripe flavors that have finally filled out and finish with a mild touch of astringency. While it's no shame not to have made a better wine in a vintage like this, it still pales beside the very good '94 Cros Paratoux. Acceptable for the vintage but no standout. Consistent notes. BH
