2005 Carillon, Louis Puligny Montrachet Blanc Condition:
Cuvee #1, from the Chassagne side: Expressive aromas of peach, minerals and truffle. Supple, ripe and peachy, with lovely purity of flavor and vivacity. A juicy, floral sample, with an enticing sweetness. Cuvee #2, from the Meursault side (more recent malo): Peach, orange and spicy oak on the nose. More obviously sweet and ripe, with fruit-driven flavors of orange and peach. Suppler and rounder than the previous sample. ST ST89.87 |
