A respectable effort from Figeac, nicely made, fruity, fragrant, with scents of ripe fruit and cedarwood, this wine was fully mature when last tasted, yet has the stuffing and balance to age well. Not as big or as full bodied as either the 1964 or 1970, the 1966 is elegant and attractive. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 1/82. RP
