Lazio is known more for the Coliseum and other relics from the Roman Empire than its wine. This is unfortunate because there are some tremendous white wines that have come out of this area for hundreds of years. This Frascati is a blend of Trebbiano and Malvasia and exudes a very subtle citrus quality. This bottle is the perfect, easy-drinking picnic wine.
