Vintage after vintage, the Resonance Vineyard designation is the most
seductive, most expressive of all the Sineann Pinot Noirs. In this
difficult vintage it is a more elegant and delicate wine than usual,
but delicious. Tart cherry, hints of pine resin, delicate spicy
highlights and a persistent and elegant finish are the hallmarks here.
We can't say enough about Kevin's management of his vineyards. Kevin and Carla Chambers meticulously care for this vineyard using completely biodynamic techniques - leaving it both healthy and happy. All of Sineann's chosen growers achieve the potential of their vineyards, Kevin consistently exceeds it. Yielding slightly under two tons per acre on the vineyard; this focus on low yields ensures the intense concentration and big, mouth-filling texture of the wine. It's a quality that all the Pinot Noirs off Resonance deliver, partially due to soil type, partially due to Kevin's progressive soil improvements. 2007 was a challenging but overall good vintage year. As a result, the wine is dark, aromatic and lush, coating the palate as few wines do.
