Bodegas Ostatu is a family winery located
in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa region in the town of Samaniego. This
wine is made up of 90% viura and 10% malvasia from vines aged 60 to 70
years old. The Blanco has bright lemon and mineral aromas that combine
with good lush fruit on the palate. Pungent aromas of poached pear, yellow plum and melon, with
complicating notes of honey and lime zest. At once rich and energetic,
offering lush orchard fruit flavors and a bracing note of citrus. The
juicy, minerally finish packs solid punch.
