If you have ever been to the Cinque Terra there is a good possibility that you have tasted Pigato. If not, you are in for a treat! This rare import, brought to us by Berkeley's own Kermit Lynch, is refreshing and great with olives and other light fare, including calamari and french fries. Once opened, you get crisp acidity, herbs and a slightly bring note. Enjoy this on a hot day, preferably with Kumamoto oysters or pesto pastas.
