This wine is a blend of 43% Grenache, 33% Cinsault, 20%
Carignan and 4% Syrah. La Croix du Prieur is CERTIFIED ORGANIC.
This wine is issued from our domain « La Croix Du Prieur »
located at the foot of the Sainte Victoire Mountain. “La Croix du Prieur” means
“the cross of the prayer”, it’s name comes from the time of the Middle-Ages
when the vines belonged to the monks of the Saint-Victor of Marseille abbey.
Average age vines 30 years. Grenache, Cinsault. Traditional vinification in
stainless steel tanks. Cooling system used during and after the harvest.
Tasting Notes: Visual - Brilliant pale pink. Olfactory - An
expressive nose with notes of little red fruits. Gustative - Nicely persistent
and lively with a pleasant freshness. Pairings - This wine will be in perfect
alliance with all white meats and provençal vegetable dishes such as ratatouille.
Best if served chilled.
