This is the second label for Château Haut-Bailly, a Preimer Cru estate located in Bordeaux’s Pessac-Leognan appelation on the left bank of the Garonne. This estate was acquired by Robert Wilmers in 1996 who updated the equipment and renovated the Chateau. The estate is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (25%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Grapes are hand harvested, stainless steel fermented, then oak aged for 18 months. Roughly 40% of each vintage is sold under the Le Parde label. |
