Vacqueyras’ “universal landlord” donated some vineyard property to Pierre Bovis in 1717. His descendants, the Arnoux family, now own over 40 hectares of vineyards. In 1936, they started to source grapes. They produe the Vieux Clocher line of wines, “The Côtes du Rhône Vieux Clocher come from a distinguished variety of grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault for the reds and rosés and White Grenache, Clairette and Roussane for the whites.
