Originally, Selvapiana was the Floretine bishops’ summer home. It was owned by a series of wealthy families until being acquired by Michele Giuntini Selvapiana in 1827. The estate now covers 240 hectares (45 under vine). The fifth generation of the Selvapiana family now lives on, and operates, the estate. ""Ripe damsons, dried cherries and a slightly earthy mineral character. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a straightforward finish. Drink now."" Wine Spectator rated 84 |
