Chateau Musar has been producing wines in Lebanon since 1930 in one of the world's oldest wine making regions. It was established by Gaston Hochar and is now run by his sons, Serge and Ronald. The Cuvee Rouge is a blend of Cinsault, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This smooth, slightly spicy wine has ripe fruit flavors with earthy notes. It is not oak aged and the body is similar to that of Pinot Noir. Enjoy it now with Mediterranean cuisine - especially lamb dishes. |
