Olegario Falcón started Don Olegario in 1980 with limited production meant only for local consumption. The winery is now run by the third generation, has expanded and is distributed internationally. Only Albariño grapes from the estate’s 5 hectare vineyard in O Salnés valley are used in this wine. Rias Baixas is the birthplace of Albariño which is noted for producing wines with bracing acidity. “Clean and powerful on the palate.
