Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz started this winery in 1999. They wanted to showcase Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. By 2004, Robert Parker had declared the winery ""the finest negociant operation south of the equator"". The winery now produces a wide range of top quality wines distributed throughout the world.
