The Finca Flichman estate was founded in 1910 by Sami Flichman, one of
the pioneers of Argentine viticulture. Until 1983 the estate was family
owned, unfortunately the grop that bought them at that point set them
back a few years. Fast forward to 1998 when the Portugese company
Sogrape bailed the winery out from poor finances and bad winemaking.
The 2005 Vino Reserva is a great wine for a sawbuck. Full of rich
currant flavors, macaroon like toasted coconut and slick vanilla bean
flavors this is sure to impress, but easy to afford. (Bryan Brick,
