Color: Pale yellow
Nose: Citrus fruit, nectarine, peach, strawberries. A real beauty of a bouquet here.
Taste: This is a well balanced wine. Thin bodied with a very
smooth finish. Light mineral notes and just the right amount of
tanginess that I like in whites.
Summary: Finally, a young Chilean chardonnay that strides well
between the inexpensive stainless steel chardonnays (too green) from
Chile that abound at the under $15 range and the sometimes too heavily
oaked California Chards.
A splendid chardonnay at this price. You’ll have to spend at least twice this much to get comparable California Chardonnay.
