2007 Realm Tempest Napa Red Wine 92 Wine Advocate
The dark ruby/purple-colored 2007 The Tempest, a blend of 81% Merlot, 15%
Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petit Verdot, exhibits chocolaty espresso notes
intermixed with mocha, cocoa, black cherry, and plum scents. A hint of spicy,
smoky, high quality oak adds to the complexity and fleshy character of this
offering. With terrific fruit, structure, and freshness, it should drink well
for 10-15 years.
