Penfolds Cabernet 'Bin 407' 1996 --Jeremy Oliver 95, James Halliday 92 750ml
| "Medium to full red-purple; there is quite evident cedary oak on the bouquet, together with gentle berry fruit. The palate has good structure and balance, with fine cassis fruit which is not overripe and fine tannins on the finish. For all that, not quite up to the other '96 red wines from Penfolds." James Halliday, March 2, 1999.
