Bindi Pinot Noir 'Original Vineyard' 2004 --Jeremy Oliver 95, Tanzer 92 750ml

"Finely crafted and deliciously spicy, this silky young pinot has a slightly meaty aroma of fresh red cherries, dark plums, rose petals, cloves and cinnamon over sweet nuances of cedary oak and faint suggestions of mint and undergrowth. Long and smooth, with a lingering core of bright, sappy fruit, it’s generously flavoured, long and savoury. Despite its elegance, it reveals genuine structure and texture. (Macedon Ranges, 18.6/95, drink 2009-2012)"  95 points, Jeremy Oliver 07/01/06.

"Light red. Utterly pure and drop-dead gorgeous on the nose, with suave floral and mineral-tinged strawberry and raspberry aromas complicated by notes of blood orange and subtle baking spices. At once lush and focused, the red fruit flavors firmed by juicy acids and sharpened by tangy mineral tones. A restrained, beautifully Old World-styled pinot, with freshness and cut to the finish. 92 points." Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jul/Aug 2006.
