Felton Road Pinot Noir 2006 --Tanzer 91 750ml

"Good deep, bright red. Bright, perfumed, sweet aromas of cherry, raspberry, flowers and pepper. Suave, silky and pliant, with enticing sweetness and complexity to the flavors of red fruits, spices and orange zest. An open-knit, ripe style of pinot that offers a captivating blend of sweetness and freshness. Finishes with dusty, fine tannins that will not get in the way of enjoying this delicious wine right now. 91 points." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Sep/Oct 07

"Deep garnet with purple tints. A nose of plum, dark cherry and herbs with oriental spice. Ripeness drives the palate, no jamminess but a rich, dark compote of black fruit laced with raspberry and chocolate. Ripe, dusty fine tannins complete the finish. The wine will drink well from release but will build in scale and complexity for at least 5 years."  Winemaker notes.
