Glenrothes Scotch 1991 Single Malt 750ml

$84.99
5 available

The 1991 is less formal than the 1992.  Enticing, open and refined it is lively and spicy on first meeting, followed by a fruity voluptuousness and with water, licorice and Demerara sugar evolve ina smoothing and rounded finish.

The latest vintage from the early 1990s. While you might imagine this Vintage would be similar to the 1992, there is a world of difference.  The Glenrothes typical characteristics are all there, of course, but the emphasis is on vanilla, buttersctochy flavours. Fortunately, there is a relatively large amount of the 1991, so you can look forward to enjoying this for the next couple of years, at least.

Appearance: Autumn gold, clear and bright.
Bouquet: Rich, mature aroma, berry fruits, vanilla and white chocolate.
Palate: Soft, mature palate, coconut, vanilla, butterscotch.
Finish: Long, vanilla sweet finish.
