| The company Boulard is one of the oldest companies specialising in the production of Calvados in Normandy. Since it was founded in 1825, five generations have taken the helm. What was once a small business trading in wines and spirits has become a major company of international renown. In addition to its portfolio of products, the company Boulard today seeks to develop a range of products based on Calvados, including Crème Boulard. Crème Boulard combines the mildness and smoothness of cream with the aromatic strength of Calvados and its hints of apple, the key characteristics of this well-known spirit. The subtlety of this mixture has made it possible to combine two great products from the dairy and from the orchard. The expertise of the head cellarman and the master dairyman makes it possible for Calvados Boulard to offer you a truly outstanding product.
Crème Boulard is obtained from the combination of milk cream flavoured with caramel and Calvados (which represents 100%of the alcohol content). The distinctive smoothness is a result of the homogenisation of the finished mixture before it is bottled.
