Sequillo Cellars Swartland Red 2004 750ml
| Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 07 "(Blend of 63% syrah, 30% mourvedre and 7% grenache) Good full red. Redcurrant, spicecake and chocolate mint on the nose, lifted by a note of dried flowers. Suave, juicy and vinous, with good concentration of flavor in a medium-bodied package. More southern than northern Rhone in its red fruit and spicecake flavors...Subtly sweet, firmly structured and elegant, in need of a bit of bottle aging. Made by Eben Sadie of Columella fame." | |
