| "The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent. After spending two years in American and French oak casks, this wine exhibits a dark ruby color, in addition to a sweet blackberry-scented nose with aggressive toasty oak aromas. It is medium-bodied, and finishes with less persuasive fruit and completeness when compared to the Shiraz and Grenache. Nevertheless, it is an impeccably made, fine wine. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2010." Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, April 1999. | |
