From the winemaker, "Distinctive carob chocolate, mocha nose with some interesting
earthy complexity attributable to the aged components. The oak contributes a spicy star anise cinnamon quality. Rich ripe fruit flavours with a smooth round middle palate and lingering finish. Well-integrated oak and tannin complement the abundant fruit. A complex style showing some age, this wine shows good balance combined with some typical McLaren Vale Shiraz characters." | |
