Rockburn Pinot Noir 2002 -Wine of the Year! 2004 Winestate Magazine Awards, 94 pts Andrew Caillard, MW 750ml
| Medium deep colour. Beautifully perfumed wine with mealy/black cherry/plum aromas with some malt nuances. Rich silky palate with red plum/liquorice/aniseed flavours, fine tannins, underlying malt oak with superb flavour length. High pitched wine 94/100. --Andrew Caillard, MW.
WS 90pts--Bright and bracing; fleshy with cherry, raspberry and cocoa flavors, finishing with a granite note that lifts the fruit as it lasts beautifully. Drink now through 2010. 3,545 cases made. (HS) --The Wine Spectator, May 15, 2004.
