IMPORTANT SUMMER SHIPPING NOTICE:
We strongly recommend selecting UPS 3-Day shipping during the summer months to destinations outside of California. UPS Ground is transported by truck and train in unrefrigerated conditions and there is the potential for heat damage during transit. If you require comparative cost estimates before deciding, please email us.
Within the state of California, there is NO 3-Day shipping option as Ground packages are delivered within 2 business days. If you desire an air transfer of your package, please select 2nd Day or Next Day shipping.
Shipping
During the summer months, orders are processed and shipped via UPS with the expectation that they can be delivered in the same week without sitting in a UPS warehouse over a weekend. All orders shipped outside of California via UPS Ground will be sent on Mondays ONLY. All orders shipped outside of California via UPS 3-Day will be sent on Mondays or Tuesdays ONLY. Please note that at this time, we are not processing any internet orders on Wednesdays or Fridays.*
Shipping available to U.S. addresses only.
Buyer represents that they are at least 21 years of age. A signature by someone at least 21 years of age may be required at time of delivery.
Shipping to a business address is preferable.
Buyer may choose any shipping option, however it is recommended that UPS Ground be avoided during warm weather. Additionally, UPS Ground can take 5 to 7 business days to arrive over long-distances (e.g. to the East Coast). This may result in a package being held over in a warehouse on the weekend. We recommend a faster shipping option to those destinations.
Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared.
Wine is shipped in styrofoam shippers at buyer's expense.**
We ship as buyer's agent on behalf of the buyer. Buyer assumes responsibility for determining whether they may lawfully import wine to their state of residence. Any risk of loss or damage during transit is assumed by the buyer.
Due to the ever-changing nature of interstate shipping laws and rates, shipping costs for your order will be calculated and quoted via a confirmation email when your order is being processed.
*Arrangements for shipping on other days can be made. Please place your order first, then contact us by telephone if you require an alternate shipping date.
**Styrofoam ship packs priced as follows. Orders falling between sizes will be shipped in the next largest container.
