  Shipping Methods & Costs

We ship to all 50 states.

States eligible for regular UPS shipping: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, DC, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

We use a specially licensed shipping company in order to ship wine legally into all other states.

Exact shipping costs will be calculated after the sale.

All orders are shipped by a licensed California retailer. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wine. We make no representation concerning your legal rights to ship or receive wine into any state outside of California. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination.

Standard shipping includes costs for third party transit and all product-handling costs. Standard delivery for shipping will arrive within 2 to 10 days, following credit card authorization. Standard deliveries are handled by UPS based on state availability. Some states may require special shipping methods. All wine shipments require a signature for receipt. Signatures must be obtained by individuals over the age of 21 years. Shipping charges are calculated after you check out. Where online tracking is available, the tracking link is included in your "Invoice Confirmation" e-mail. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to appear in our system due to delays in receiving information from carriers. In cases where your order includes accessories and/or gourmet products, wine will be shipped separate; shipping fees will be consolidated in these cases.

In instances where one or more items in your order is not available for immediate shipment, we will notify you and offer a substitution recommendation or offer to hold your order until all items are available for shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Express Shipping is available for specific items throughout the WineMiles, Inc. store. Look for the icon to identify which products may be shipped standard overnight or 2-day air. Orders placed by noon ET will ship the next business day, pending credit card verification, and should arrive the following business day after the ship date. Express shipping is not available for Saturday or Sunday deliveries. Immediate Shipping is available for specific items. Look for "Immediate Shipment", located next to products WineMiles, Inc. has available to send same day. Products are shipped via ground service on all "Immediate Shipment" items unless otherwise specified by the user during the checkout process.

WineMiles, Inc. does not ship on major holidays and weekends. Additionally, in cases of extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat and/or cold), WineMiles, Inc. reserves the right to delay the release of shipments to ensure the highest quality of products at the time of arrival.

Bottle limits & availability

In some instances, state laws regulate product availability and/or wine purchase limitations. Working within state and local laws may prevent our ability to fulfill your order requests.

We are currently licensed to ship wine to 10 states. Certain states allow a specific number of bottles per order. Click here for a list of bottle limits by state.

Out of Stock Items

While we continually monitor inventory to ensure our website's accuracy, there is on occasion, instances where certain vintages sell out or simply are no longer available. When that occurs, our Wine Specialists are available to make suggestions for comparable vintage or varietals substitutions. During the checkout process of your order, you will be given the option to accept or reject our substitution recommendations. In cases where you have specified substitutions as accepted, we will email you our recommendations before shipping; you can either accept our recommendations or have us replace the items with others you prefer. In cases where you choose not to have substitutions made to your orders, we will simply ship the available items minus the out of stock item(s) or cancel the order on your behalf (as applicable). Because we do not charge your credit card until we ship your order, charges for out-of-stock items will not appear on your bill.

Credit Card Refunds

Upon receiving your returned shipment, we will process a refund to the credit card used at time of purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

Tracking Your Order

To assist you track the status of your shipment, we email you the order tracking number associated with your shipments the day the order is sent. Or a delivery confirmation number (United States Postal Service). Sign-in to the Order Status page, to check the status of your delivery by clicking directly on the Tracking Number. Please note that it may take 24 hours before tracking information appears on the carrier's web site.

If you think your order is late, please note that: Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Express orders placed by 11:59 pm ET will ship the next business day. Delivery occurs Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order for Customer Care assistance. As is tradition in the wine trade, all bottles 10 years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.

Multi-media cannot be returned once opened.
