Every WineCommune user must verify their identity by providing a credit card registered to their address. If a user is verified, that user has authenticated their identity. If a user is unverified, they have not yet authenticated their identity. Verify your identity - it's quick and free!

WineCommune's fraud insurance only covers bids by verified bidders on lots offered by verified sellers.

1. If you're a potential seller, bidder's will be more likely to bid on your lots. As a seller, WineCommune will insure bidders against any fraudulent seller activity. Only lots offered by verified sellers are elligible for the insurance coverage.
2. If you're a bidder, sellers will have confidence in your identity which can make the closing of a transaction a simplier process.
